100th season of the Dundalk and District League to kick-off on week starting April 15th with new Marketing Revamp!

The 100th Dundalk and District League (DDL) season is set to kick off on the week beginning April 15th with 9 clubs set to make up the format of the Premier Division.

DDL has confirmed new investment in digital marketing to revamp the quality and overall experience of the league for 2019 and beyond. The DDL has invested substantial amounts this year in making local marketing firm Cliff Top Creative their digital partners to help bring their visions to reality. Cliff Top Creative offer specialist digital marketing and PR strategies to businesses in Leinster, they will be working with the DDL committee throughout the entire 2019 league to help execute the league objectives.

The exciting revamp of the league includes:

  • A brand new modern, intuitive & mobile responsive website
  • League tables and fixtures published & updated daily on the DDL website
  • complete social media management and growth of all channels to promote league awareness & PR for participating clubs
  • Recurring daily updates on social media of fixtures, results & match reports
  • Live recordings of cup matches over Facebook & Instagram live
  • Player of the month awards photographed and donated by DDL sponsors
  • Best match highlights of each month recorded and combined into one promotional video
  • iOS & Android applications for instant access to fixtures & tables (roll out later this year)
  • Annual fundraisers

The league has received applications from the following clubs to compete in the top tier:

  • Quay Celtic
  • Muirhevnamor FC
  • Bellurgan United
  • Rock Celtic
  • Redeemer Celtic
  • Ardee Celtic

The 2019 season will run until early October, culminating in the McConville Cup final at Oriel Park.
