WE ARE THE DDL

This year marks the 100th year in the Leagues history and we plan to make it a memorable one.

This year we hope to run a league with 2 divisions for clubs consisting of 9 teams in each league, a premier and an over 35s league to fulfil an appetite in the local area for this setup

The Dundalk & District league was first established in 1906, however, it wasn’t until 1919 that the league was revived after WW1 by Paddy Casey, father of Des Casey who served as vice president of UEFA to form the first organised league for association football in the Dundalk & District area.
