Glenmuir United win 5-0 against Muirhevnamor F.C

A stunning strike from 30 yards by Melvin Ono in the 12th minute opened the scoring in this one sided contest. Danny Mullen doubled Glenmuir advantage in the 18th minute, scoring from the edge of the box. In the half hour mark Paddy Nicholson scored direct from a corner kick to put the Glems 3-0 ahead, a lead they took into the break. Muirhevnamor were awarded a penalty just before half-time but shot wide, spurning a chance to reduce the leeway.

In a very uneventful second half both sides struggled to create good openings until the 70th minute when Ronan Molloy made it 4-0 to end the game as a contest. Minutes later Caolan McCabe, from close range completed the scoring to give the Glens their first win of the season and their first clean sheet.
