Fane F.C kept in touch with League leaders Redeemer Celtic with a narrow 3-2 win over Bellurgan United in a very evenly contested game,watched by Dundalk players Ronan Murray and Pat Hogan. Barry Cumiskey put Fane ahead after 11 minutes Sean Bailey struck again to put Fane 2-1 ahead 

Fifteen minutes into the second half Stephen Finnegan hauled Bellurgan back on level terms in this obsorbing contest. The match was decided in the 67th minute when Micky Cross was quickest to re-act to his shot coming back off the post, to score the points clinching score. Fane with 15 points from 7 games are 3 points addrift off Redeemer who have 18 points from 6 games.
